Ireland, A Top Destination for Travel

With its massive rolling hillsides and welcoming locals, Ireland has garnered a reputation as one of the top destinations for travel. 1. Location, Location, Location
   If you are making plans to travel to Europe and are not sure exactly how you want to set up your itinerary, placing Ireland at the top of your list just may make the transition easier. If you are departing from the East Coast of the United States, the flight to Ireland is a little over 6 hours. That means you can be in the “Emerald Isle” in roughly the same amount of time it would take to get to the West Coast.

This can be particularly important if you are traveling solo, as it can be intimidating trying to interact with strangers in an unfamiliar setting. From the pubs to the shops, the residents are genuinely open and cheerful to travelers.

   It would be a travesty to talk about Ireland and not mention the pubs. These local meeting spots are not the run-of-the-mill knock off joints that are found in the United States. Here the pubs range from your quaint neighborhood establishment with sawdust floors and wooden stools, to high-end spots like the Auld Dubliner in Dublin’s popular Temple Bar District. Whether you prefer authenticity or flair, there are many great options available to grab a perfect pint of Guinness.
5. The National Leprechauns Museum
   If you are interested in a something a little more on the kitschy side, then you must visit the National Leprechaun Museum in Dublin City Center. Popular with tourists, this spot has been a huge attraction for foreigners since it first opened. The location features rooms filled with pots of gold and oversized furniture that has been designed to give you an “authentic leprechaun experience.”
